Rev. Gladys M. Weydert
Rev. Dr. Gladys Martinez Weydert, founder of New Covenant Ministries & Fellowship, as well as New Covenant Weddings, is an ordained Christian minister, as well as a South Carolina Notary Public. She has been in ministry since 1994, when she began working in children's ministry, and doing one-to-one lay-counseling with women and couples. Dr. Weydert is a trained Bible-studies teacher, and became a Precept Ministries Leader, teaching the Word of God in Sunday Schools and to others in small groups. In 1999, she graduated from Andersonville Theological Seminary (Camilla, Georgia) with a degree in Biblical Studies, and also completed the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling program, and is a Certified Pastoral Member; she now has completed her Doctorate in Pastoral Psychology at Trinity Institute of Christian Counseling (United New Testament Church, Harvest, Alabama) in 2008. She is also a member in good standing of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Dr. Weydert has a great interest in people of all faiths and cultures. She is bilingual, and speaks fluent Spanish. She has been involved in wedding planning and ceremony writing since 1997, and, as of May, 2009, Dr. Weydert has performed over 700 weddings. She is the mother of 3 adult children, and the proud grandmother of 4 beautiful girls.

Rev. Paul J. Girgenti
Rev. Girgenti brings a unique blend of corporate and creative experience to New Covenant Ministries & Fellowship. Originally from New York City, he was first known for his writing and producing of jingles and R&B music in the 1980’s. Later he built a successful video production company that produced corporate training videos. Now a resident of the Charleston area, he has created the “Appliance Program.” This charitable endeavor donates much needed household appliances to low income families and the disabled. Rev. Girgenti is still involved with music mostly as a worship artist at various local churches. He was ordained by St. Luke's Evangelical Christian Ministries in Augusta, Georgia.

Lindsay Boyd, O.C.P.
Lindsay E. Boyd, Ordained Clergy Person, is originally from Miami, Florida. She has a strong background in the hospitality industry, however, she has been involved with weddings all her life: Lindsay is Gladys' daughter, and New Covenant Weddings has been in her family for as long as she can remember. Lindsay has participated in planning and executing nearly as many weddings as Gladys has, including serving as office staff, preparing flower arrangements, decorating the original New Covenant Weddings Chapel, catering, even serving. A spiritual seeker, Lindsay sought ordination through Universal Life Church in Modesto, California, and the Church of Spiritual Humanism. Lindsay has 2 beautiful daughters, Hailey and Nikki.

At present, Gladys is the only one working for New Covenant Weddings "full-time." She runs all the websites, keeps in contact with the couples, writes ceremonies, prepares couples, counsels those couples who desire it, and helps brides with wedding plans, as well as all ministry functions for New Covenant Ministries & Fellowship. Paul is busy with his music ministry at various churches. Lindsay is a full-time mom to her children, and works with NCW in a back-up capacity.
We have had the honor and privilege of having officiated at hundreds of weddings over the last several years. We've have been blessed with wonderful couples, and it has been a great joy to be there when they become a family. Hope to hear from you soon!!
