 Active Duty Military Friends
We are humbly grateful to each and every one of you for the brave work that you do for us! We want to show you our appreciation in any way
that we can, so we have a special offer just for you! This is our way of supporting our troops!
1. If you have orders and are being deployed
to Iraq or Afghanistan (or another area of conflict), we will gladly provide you with a FREE ceremony. This will be the simple, "Classic Elopement", which includes a "prewritten" ceremony (one of our own, not from a book or the Net), and there can be no customization. You may chose from a Civil/Humanist Ceremony, a Christian Ceremony, or a Spiritual-But-Not-Religious Ceremony. Let us know if you have one ring, two rings, or no rings. You may have up to 4 guests. The ceremony must be held at our office, or the lake-front park. If your ceremony is to be held anywhere other than our office or the lake-side park, travel fees will apply (no discount is available on travel fees, sorry -- $1 per mile roundtrip). The Custom Ceremony is not available for free; nor can we travel long distances, even with travel expenses paid.
We do not require it, but we happily accept donations on the occasion when we provide a free ceremony. This allows us to continue our ministry to the Military.
Due to past occurrences of fraud, you may be asked to present your orders, so please bring them with you to your ceremony, along with your marriage license.
2. All of our wonderful Active Duty Military Personnel receive a
20% discount on any of our regular services, including packages.
3. Retired Military and Veterans with ID receive a 15% discount.
To take advantage of this offer, fill in the Check
Availability form and make certain that, after either the Bride's Name, or the
Groom's Name, which ever one is Active Duty Military Personnel, please write those
words. There is room, at least, for "Military." Once I send you a
return email, we can talk more about the details and whether you
qualify for the free ceremony or the discounted ceremony.
*Please keep in mind that we may have to fit you in between some other weddings. However, you are very important to us, and we very much want to serve you!
We are a proud military family! Rev. Weydert's son, Adam, is in the Army, 82nd Airborne, and is now serving in Afghanistan. (Please keep him in your prayers!) His father served in the Air Force and in the Gulf War, as did Rev. Anne Marie Vazquez, Adam's aunt. Morever, Rev. Jennifer Shambrook, also, served in the U.S. Army!
We are excited and honored to have Adam serve with all of you. America's Troops are the finest in the world, and we love all of you! Once again, we thank you for everything that you are doing, and may God richly bless you all! Come home safe!
